THE HISTORY OF THE ROYAL WARRANT

The history of the Royal Warrant can be traced back to medieval times and in 1840,

The Royal Warrant Holders Association was formed to ensure the institution's continued existence. The Royal Warrant Holders Association supports a broad range of local charities through its grass roots grant giving via their Charity Fund and The Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust (QEST), an art and craft educational trust which was created to sustain traditional British craftsmanship. Both charities work the length and breadth of the country making a positive impact to local communities as well as the continuation of rare craft skills.

THE NEW ROYAL ARMS

We previously held a Royal Warrant for the Manufacturing of Estate Tweed Woollen Fabric to HM The King when he was HRH The Prince of Wales. As Warrant Holders, we can display the appropriate Royal Arms on our products and we look forward to doing so again, this time with the new Royal Arms which will be released very soon.
